In one of the most recent casting announcements for Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, Jaleel White is joining the list!  White has a wide range of experience, from voice-over to in-person roles.  One of his most famous roles is Steve Urkle from Family Matters, with other roles including the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog in several series from the 90s and a character in Big Fat Liar (2002), among many others.  White also has several production and writing credits.  His character for the series is currently unspecified.

In a Sportsnet broadcast table interview, White gave a few details about his currently unnamed role in the show.  He said (via The Direct), “Oh wow, I’m actually gonna be on a new series on Disney+ starring Jude Law called Skeleton Crew… So that’s a big change for me, man. I had to do two hours of makeup every day. I get to be a pirate.”  Pirates seem to be the main antagonists in the series, so his role has the potential to be quite large.  As the show’s release window approaches, details will likely come soon.
