Hulu's Reimagining Of 'Hellraiser' Has Been Given Its Official Teaser Trailer And Release Date
“The blood brought me back. I need more!”
Hulu is your go-to spot this Halloween season with the Hellraiser reboot, which released its teaser trailer today. This reimagining of Clive Barker’s 1987 horror classic will debut in the U.S. exclusively on Hulu on October 7.
Director David Bruckner reunites with screenwriters Ben Collins & Luke Piotrowski, writer/producer David S. Goyer and producer Keith Levine, all of whom worked on 2020’s The Night House, to bring you a new version of horror-fan favorite cenobite: Pinhead, played by actress Jamie Clayton (The L Word: Generation Q, Sense8). The first glimpse of Clayton as the classic horror movie killer has been revealed in the teaser video. Although it is hard to see clearly behind a moving Hellraiser title, Pinhead's pins leave an eerily lasting impression following the fifteen-second clip.

The ensemble cast includes Odessa A’zion (Fam, Grand Army), Adam Faison (Everything’s Gonna Be Okay, Yes Day), Drew Starkey (Outer Banks, The Devil All the Time), Brandon Flynn (Ratched, 13 Reasons Why), Aoife Hinds (The Long Call, Normal People), Jason Liles (Stereoscope, Rampage), Yinka Olorunnife (The Transporter), Selina Lo (Boss Level, Q8 Unleashed), Zachary Hing (Halo), Kit Clarke (Leonardo), with Goran Visnjic (The Boys, Timeless) and Hiam Abbass (Succession, Blade Runner 2049). This casting leaves fans hopeful that this rendition of Hellraiser will be significantly better than the last eight cringe-worthy movies.
With previous horror releases like No Exit and Prey, Hellraiser’s promise of more blood makes us need more.
