Here's Everything Coming To HBO And Max In March

There’s a lot coming to streaming service Max this month, with a few additions meant to capitalize on upcoming releases within theatres. Starting out the month is HBO’s The Regime, the Kate Winslet led political satire miniseries. Chancellor Elena Vernham becomes increasingly paranoid during the uprising of her country to her rule across the six episodes. The first episode premiered on March 3, with a new episode releasing every Sunday. Also arriving on that date is HGTV’s reality series Small Town Potential.

Max original series, The Girls on the Bus, sees four journalists traveling together as they cover the presidential campaigns of the running candidates. Those four journalists are portrayed by Melissa Benoist, Carla Gugino, Natasha Behnam, and Christina Elmore. The series will premiere with two episodes on March 14, with a new episode releasing every Thursday. The documentary series Justice, USA will also premiere on the same day, again with two episodes.

Arriving to the streaming service after a successful theatrical release is Wonka. The origin film based on Roald Dahl’s classic novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Timothée Chalamet plays the titular Willy Wonka as he grows to be the master chocolatier known from the book. Wonka will arrive on Max on March 8. Also on that date comes 2018’s A Star is Born, a musical romance drama starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Tiny Toons Looniversity brings the first half of its second season to the service, along with a Spring Break special. Discovery Channel series Gold Rush: White Water and Care Bears: Unlock the Magic special Grumpy’s Ginormous Adventure round out the additions on that day.

Season 10 of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk and all of Discovery’s Mini Beat Power Rockers arrive on March 15. Also on that day, last year’s highly rated A24 film Dream Scenario will arrive. Nicolas Cage portrays Paul Matthews, an individual who gains fame in an unusual way when they start appearing in the dreams of people worldwide. For fans of A24 films who want something to watch while waiting for this newest release, 2017’s Good Time and 2021’s The Green Knight were released on the service March 1.

In fact, a whole host of content arrived on Max on March 1, including Ryan Coogler’s feature debut Fruitvale Station. Fans of Godzilla and Kong are being treated well, with 2014’s Godzilla, 2017’s Kong: Skull Island, 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and the original 1933 King Kong and Son of Kong releases all on the service. The list of additions on March 1 is extensive, with a total of 57 titles added.
