Here's A First Look At The Return Of 'Happy Gilmore'
A comedy classic is getting a sequel. Happy Gilmore 2 has just gotten a new teaser, and it’s come from Adam Sandler himself. The teaser was posted on Instagram with the message, “Happy Chanukah! Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! And Happy Gilmore to all!!!!!!” This sneak peek features Sandler in character as Gilmore, in his Boston Bruins jersey, at a golf course. Included is a cameo from NFL star Travis Kelce, appearing to play a waiter, stating, “It's great to see you back, Mr. Gilmore.” Kelce had been confirmed for a cameo role before this, with Sandler suggesting he might play Gilmore’s son.
Happy Gilmore was one of Adam Sandler’s first big hits and established him as a film actor. Sandler would name his production company Happy Madison, after it, and Billy Madison. Though Happy Madison’s output has varied greatly in terms of quality, no one can deny Sandler’s first two films' impact, so it makes perfect sense for him to return to him. Not much is known about Happy Gilmore 2 at the moment, apart from its planned 2025 release on Netflix. We will be sure to keep on the lookout for any news and report it from our trusted sources.
