The official teaser trailer for the Season 4 installment of the popular Emmy-Award-winning HBO series, Succession is out and promises an intense opener brimming with drama. As the trailer begins the viewer is privy to a helicopter view of the city and a monologue delivered by the patriarch, Logan Roy; played by Brian Cox. Roy’s children – Shiv, Kendall, Ronan, and Connor played by Sarah Snook, Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, and Alan Ruck respectively are not about to stand idly by while their dad sells his media company to fellow tech giant Lukas Matsson. That is right, the Roy adult children are gearing up for a rebellion.

In Roy’s powerful speech he lets the viewers know that he is no stranger to being turned against, but that he is “100 feet tall” and refers to “these” people as pygmies. The children however are referred to outright as “the rebel alliance” and appear to be ready for a fight. HBO Max has announced that there will be a Spring 2023 release date for Season 4. The exact date of release is to be announced. The destiny of the family once the deal officially goes through is of grave concern for the children and will undoubtedly lead to division of the family.

Will the deal go through? Will Logan complete the sale of his company, Waystar Royco? What are the Roy children plotting this time? Showrunner, Jesse Armstrong has set up an intense season with a strong cast and an outstanding musical score from Nicholas Britell.
