Knights of the Old Republic is getting a remake, with Hasbro unveiling some new figures within the Black Series line to tie in with that.

During a Hasbro Pulse Star Wars Fanstream on YouTube, the figures for Bastila Shan and Darth Malak were revealed. While these figures were confirmed to be in production at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022, this is the first time fans have seen them. Both designs look similar to their appearances in the 2003 game, with Shan wearing her red and gold outfit and Malak in his red outfit with a cape.

Both figures come with lightsabers with removeable blades, allowing them to be posed with their multiple points of articulation in battle poses or regular ones. Darth Malak will also come with his cybernetic mask that can also be removed to reveal the mangled lower part of his face.

First announced at a September 2021 PlayStation Showcase, the Knights of the Old Republic remake has reportedly been in a mess of development since that time. The reveal of a date for these figures hint toward the possibility of the remake being closer to a release than journalist Jason Schreier reported earlier this year. These two figures will release August 2023.
