Hasbro Announced The Release Of Exclusive 'Indiana Jones' Figures And More During The Latest Pulse Fanstream
Last week, Hasbro announced that it would hold its first Hasbro Pulse fanstream focused on the Indiana Jones brand on January 11. It would also be the first fanstream of the year. Wednesday came, and there was plenty to showcase.
It started with a Target-exclusive figure of Indy himself. However, this figure isn’t the standard explorer outfit. Instead, he’s wearing the white-jacketed tuxedo he wore to Club Obi-Wan in Temple of Doom. It’s accessorized with the remains of Nurhachi, the diamond, the antidote vial, a flaming chicken skewer, and a large sword. Meanwhile, Walmart will be getting two exclusives. The first is Professor Jones, adorned with a diary and Crusader shield, while the other is Last Crusade foe Walter Donovan, who was played by Julian Glover. He comes with the false Holy Grail and an alternate head for his zombification.

The retro toy line, like Star Wars, mimics the original run of Kenner toys. The first of these put on display in the stream was Marion in a cloth dress with the capuchin monkey. The Major Toht figure includes his jacket, which is removable, while the German mechanic has “spring-action wrench wielding”. A new version of the original mail-away Belloq will also come carded, meaning for the first time as a finished, non-prototype figure, it’ll have the harder plastic cell and cardboard backing. A 12-inch Indy features whip-cracking, voice samples, and Harrison Ford’s scanned likeness.
The final segment showcased the upcoming 6-inch figures will be, along with pictures hinting at what they’re wearing. A Temple of Doom wave will include Rope Bridge Indy, Possessed Indy, and Short Round, and a wave based on the newest film Dial of Destiny features Helena Shaw and Indiana Jones as he appears in the film’s 1969 setting. The James Mangold-directed film will be released on June 30.
The day after this presentation, Hasbro announced its next fanstream would not even be a week after, with Power Rangers having its first turn of the year on Tuesday, January 17.
