Harrison Ford has been announced as a new casting addition to Captain America: Brave New World. He’s been rather candid about his role as the iconic Red Hulk aka Thaddeus Ross. In true Ford tradition, he came up with a rather colorful quote about the matter.

Ford is known for his outspoken interviews and viewpoints. He recently went viral for his reaction to the Deadpool and Wolverine popcorn buckets, and he’s been banned from visiting China since 1995.

Ford recently attended San Diego Comic-Con where the Red Hulk transformation was revealed on the main stage. He was more complimentary about taking up the mantle of the hot-headed general there. Although this is his first superhero, Ford is well used to fandoms and franchises as a member of the Star Wars cast.

In true Ford tradition, he came up with a rather colorful quote about the matter.

“What did it take? It took not caring. It took being an idiot for money, which I’ve done before. I don’t mean to disparage it,” Ford added. “I’m just saying you have to do certain things that normally your mother would not want you to do — or your acting coach, if you had one. But it’s fun, and I enjoyed it.”

Despite Thaddeus Ross being Bruce Banner’s nemesis, Mark Ruffalo is not expected to be in the fourth instalment of Captain America. This begs the question of where they are going to take the character, as most of his storylines from the comics involve him in some way shape, or form. His daughter, Betty is also Bruce’s wife. We’ll have to wait and see.
