Saul “Slash” Hudson, one of the founding fathers and lead guitarist of the British-American rock group Guns N’ Roses’ has launched his new horror movie production company, BerserkerGang. Hudson is joined in this project by Raven Banner Entertainment Studio horror genre professionals Michael Paszt, James Fler, and Andrew T. Hunt, as well as the founder of Rue Morgue magazine, filmmaker Rodrigo Gudiño, and Hangar 18 Media producer Pasha Patriki.

“I’ve always been a huge horror fan, especially going back to the days when horror movies actually scared the hell out of you. I want to get into the heart of the producing business so I can try and make movies that I’d like to see.”

This collaboration stems from their previous partnership on the production of The Breach (2022) in which Slash was a composer and executive producer. Directed by Gudiño and produced by Patriki, the film first premiered at the Fantasia Film Festival and was then played at the UK’s Fright Fest.

As for now, no titles have been announced by the newly created studio, nonetheless, Hunt told Variety that “The aim of BerserkerGang will be quality over quantity,” and that they “will be selectively choosing projects that we collectively feel best represent the brand.”

“The company slogan is ‘Films Forged in Fury,’ if that’s any indication of where we plan on venturing,” added Gudiño.

Slash's music group has been featured in numerous films, including Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991), Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017), Thor: Love and Thunder (2022), Megamind (2010), and many others. This foray into the film industry will undoubtedly provide an excellent opportunity to introduce Guns N’ Roses’ musicality to the horror genre.
