'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3' Drops A New Trailer During Super Bowl LVII
The newest trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was just released during Super Bowl LVII. It is longer than the previous one and reveals that the stakes are much higher for the Guardians this time around.
Peter Quill begins by giving a quick rundown of what has happened to them as a group, focusing on Gamora in particular. She has died and come back, but she’s not quite the same as she was. In true Guardians format, Rainbow’s classic “Since You Been Gone” plays in the background as the Guardians travel through more of the universe, giving fans a peek at many new areas. We also get a quick glimpse of what appears to be Rocket’s backstory. We already know that Vol. 3 will focus on Rocket. To actually see how he became the way he is will be heartbreaking. The camera then cuts to the group in colorful suits jumping out of their ship onto a mysterious planet as the presence of the High Evolutionary and Adam Warlock tease what they might have in store.

The theme of the found family has been featured in previous Guardians movies. This message is everpresent in the trailer especially when Star-Lord asks the group if they’re ready for “one last ride.”
While this may be the most emotional Guardians movie, the trailer shows that it will also be one of the most colorful. It is clear from the humor in the trailer that Vol. 3 still retains its original charm. Fans are in for a ride in what may be the last Guardians movie with this cast.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 releases only in theaters on May 5th, 2023.
