The Flash is one of the most anticipated and perhaps controversial projects (for a lot of reasons) to be released in theaters in 2022. The topic of the multiverse is a huge plot of the film, being inspired by the famous comic storyline Flashpoint from DC Comics.

With Ezra Miller reprising the role of Barry Allen aka The Flash he is being joined by Ben Affleck as the main DCEU Bruce Wayne/Batman and the legendary Michael Keaton reprising the role of the '89 Bruce Wayne/Batman, in addition to having Supergirl in the film portrayed by up and coming actress Sasha Calle, the film has a lot of eyeballs and attention from fans and moviegoers.

The Illuminerdi has recently reported that Grant Gustin from the CW-verse's The Flash television series is scheduled to make a cameo appearance in the DCEU The Flash movie.

Back in 2019 during the mega-crossover event Crisis On Infinite Earths involving the CW-verse DC shows, Ezra Miller made a shocking cameo appearance toward the end of the event, and fans have been demanding more crossovers with the DCEU film and CW-verse television versions of Barry Allen. Grant Gustin may have become a household name with The Flash on CW. If the report of him crossing over into the DCEU with The Flash film on the horizon, it will be a massive moment for the actors and their respective characters involved. Think of the positive reactions among the worldwide audiences in theaters!

Warner Bros. is trying to move away from the Snyderverse by steering the DCEU into a direction that allows for multiple versions of multiple characters to appear on big and small screens at the same time. What if Tyler Hoechlin's Superman encounters Henry Cavill’s Superman in a similar fashion?

Buckle up, DCEU fans. The ride just got more interesting now.
