One of the reasons so many people say that we’re living in a golden age of entertainment is that no matter what your fandom is, you can get more of it. Just when it seems like everything is getting a sequel, spin-off, cinematic universe, or remake. Now, even if you like a relatively obscure movie with a small but devoted fanbase, there’s a chance of that franchise coming back to have more content added.

The cult classic comedy Good Burger from 1997 just had a sequel released a few days ago, 26 years after the release of the original, with director Phil Traill hinting at a third movie.

RELATED:

"The character of Ed has not changed," Traill said of one of the film’s protagonists, played by Kel Mitchel. "He now has a family, he's got a bunch of kids and a wife, but he himself is still the same old Ed. As that doesn't change, we can just do it again and again and put them in crazier and crazier situations. There's plans afoot for various different things.”

"We had lots of people who wanted to be in the movie and lots didn't work out because of dates," he said of the sequel. "So hopefully they can come back in Good Burger 3."

As of now, there is no release date for the third movie.
