'God Of War: Ragnarok' Sweeps The Game Awards, 'Elden Ring' Walks Away Game Of The Year
Sony and Santa Monica Studios’s “God Of War: Ragnarok” has swept The Game Awards this year, winning Best Narrative, Best Score and Music, Best Audio Design, Best Performance from Christopher Judge as Kratos, Innovation in Accessibility and Best Action/Adventure. It would not win the Game Of the Year award, that honor would go to Bandai Namco and From Software’s “Elden Ring”, it would also take home Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction, and Best Role Playing. These two games certainly made an impact on the year 2022, and we will look forward to more games from these four companies.
The Game Awards is an annual awards ceremony that’s been running since 2014. There have been many awards this year, and we’ve only scratched the surface of the categories and awards this year. You can see more on our website, or you can go to The Game Awards site to see more. We will be certainly returning next year to cover the 2023 Game Awards, so look forward to that as well. It’s been a good year for gaming, so let’s all get ready for the holidays. After all, holiday shopping is a goal for game companies.
