Everything From The Marvel Studios Animation Panel At San Diego Comic-Con Day Two
It is convention weekend once again. It is not just any convention, but San Diego Comic-Con! Anytime a big con like this comes around, a boatload of news comes with it. The Marvel Studios Animation Panel had a stacked lineup, including Marvel Studios’ head of streaming television and animation Brad Winderbaum, and head of visual development Ryan Meinerding, among several executive producers and writers.
First on our list of announcements is an interesting prequel series that might answer some burning questions to come in 2024. Spider-Man: Freshman Year will follow Peter Parker before we meet him in Captain America: Civil War, leading up to him becoming the Spider-Man we are familiar with. The style of the series will be a throwback to the original comics. The ninth grade will not be the only year we see as the panel also announced Spider-Man: Sophomore Year.
