Evangeline Lilly Says She Is Hopeful That Marvel Will Create An ‘A-Force’ Movie
Evangeline Lilly is all set to reprise her role as Hope van Dyne a.k.a. The Wasp in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The movie will kick off the fifth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and get us closer to the events of Avengers: Secret Wars, the grand finale of the Multiverse Saga. As Marvel’s first all-women team of Avengers, the A-Force has been so closely associated with Marvel’s Secret Wars crossover storyline in the 2015 comic run, it is natural to wonder if we shall get treated to the heroics of this team on the big screen soon.
In a recent interview, Evangeline Lilly revealed that she is also looking forward to working in an A-Force movie. Lilly told CinePop,
“Yes! I would like to be on it. I would like to make it happen. That day that we did the scene in Avengers: Endgame where it was just us women was the most special day I’ve ever had. It was maybe tied with the most special day I’ve ever had filming a Marvel movie.”
Now we all remember that legendary scene from Avengers: Endgame and would love to watch an entire movie where our favorite women Avengers save the day. While the upcoming, The Marvels, which will feature Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel, an A-Force movie could get much bigger in bringing many more superheroes together.
The Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is slated to release on February 17, 2023.
