Enjoy Some 'Critical Role' Fun With The 'Twelve Days Of Grogmas'
Dungeons and Dragons’ hit podcasters Critical Role have embraced the holiday spirit and released a Christmas album titled Winter’s Crest. The songs are available for streaming on all major formats such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, etc. The Twelve Days of Grogmas has its own music video sung by characters Grog Strongjaw and Pike Trickfoot (Travis Willingham and Ashley Johnson) and can be viewed on YouTube.
Peter Habib & Sam Riegel wrote Twelve Days of Grogmas, and if those names are familiar, it's because they are the pair behind the D&D Beyond Theme, which incidentally has a Critical Role reference. The team also worked on (all three seasons) The Legend of Vox Machina soundtrack.
Winter’s Crest has been released on Critical Role’s own imprint, Scanlan Shorthalt Music, named after Sam Riegel’s bard. And if you need a gift for the Dungeon Master in your life, a vinyl version is available, including a signed deluxe edition with variant cover art. The stunning sleeves are from the creative talents of Adelle Kincel, Nate Gonzalez, and Jordyn Torrence. But it’s only available for pre-order before Christmas and won’t ship until Spring. The standard edition costs $49.99, while a deluxe vinyl will set you back $249.99, so start saving.
