Empire Magazine Has Revealed Their Covers Featuring 'The Rings Of Power' Season 2
Empire Magazine has just unveiled the covers featuring the iconic characters Galadriel and Halbrand, or should we say... Annatar. This issue is a must-have for fans, offering an exclusive sneak peek from the set ahead of the highly anticipated second season of The Rings of Power.
Let's go ahead and set the stage. Now in the Second Age, the high fantasy drama set in Tolkien’s Middle-earth has revealed everyone’s favorite big-bad, Sauron. That’s right, he hid himself in plain sight but is coming out from the shadows, ready to assume his perceived rightful place as Dark Lord and all the power that comes with it.

In this month's issue of Empire, there will be two cover options, and die-hard fans are likely to collect them both. They boast a 3D lenticular design with one cover featuring Morfydd Clark’s Galadriel and the other Charlie Vickers’ Sauron in two different forms. On the Galadriel cover, one view portrays her as her Lady of the Realm persona, while the second illustrates her evolution to The Elf Warrior. The second cover is meant to feature Vickers' shape-shifting Sauron.
One image shows Vickers' alter ego, Halbrand, while the transition image aims to reintroduce him as Annatar to audiences. Where will Galadriel stand in Sauron’s quest to dominate Middle-earth? Find out by watching the premiere on Amazon Prime Video on August 29, 2024, and don’t forget to check out the beautiful covers available for purchase through the Empire website.
