Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters next weekend, but we have already started to see early reviews hitting social media and news sites and some are not exactly as expected. Most of the reviews are heavily mixed. All of them praise Jonathan Majors’ big bad, while also stating that Quantumania may be one of the “dullest” Marvel movies to date. That is not to say there aren’t a few positive articles in the mix, with some saying that the film was incredibly energetic with fantastic visuals.

A lot of these early reviews are saying that Quantumania is essentially Marvel’s own Star Wars film. While the film excels in visual effects, and fast-paced storytelling, its ending is met with mixed reactions. According to some reviewers, Quantumania almost works better as a stand-alone film as opposed to an ending to a trilogy. However, everyone agrees that the movie has a lot going on, good comedy throughout, and some fantastic performances by the cast.
