Disney's Newest Release Slate Could Hint At The Future Of Marvel's Kang
Speculation about Jonathan Majors’ role as Kang the Conqueror and the other Kang variants has surrounded Majors and Marvel for months. At the time of his assault conviction, the studio chose to part ways with the actor.
Many people thought a new villain would likely be introduced as the big bad guy. However, Disney’s latest release slate suggests that Kang may remain at the helm of villainy as previously planned and will likely be recast.

Early in Major’s investigation and court hearings, Disney reportedly began internally referring to the film as Avengers 5. This aided the rumors that the antagonist of the film would likely change. However, Disney’s official release schedule announced that the film's title stands – Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Marvel is no stranger to recasting with success, as evidenced in the cases of Bruce Banner, Red Skull, and Cassie Lang.
By recasting the role, all the groundwork laid for the storyline will remain intact, allowing for continuity across the multiverse. Fans have already been buzzing all over the internet about who they might like to see step into the role.
A few suggested thus far have included Denzel Washington, John Boyega, and Colman Domingo, to name a few. Only time will tell how Marvel will have the saga play out, but fans are excitedly here for it.
