Disney Releases New Featurette For 'Peter Pan & Wendy': 'Reimagining Neverland'

The secrets of Neverland are about to be revealed. Disney+ just released a behind-the-scenes featurette of its new original movie Peter Pan and Wendy.
The film is a reimagined take on the classic Disney animated film Peter Pan. The story follows the adventures of Wendy Darling and her brothers as they travel to the magical world of Neverland with the perpetually young Peter Pan and his fairy friend, Tinker Bell. The children face the evil pirate Captain Hook on a dangerous and thrilling coming-of-age adventure.

In the featurette, director David Lowery discusses his vision to create a Neverland “that no one had ever seen before”. The cast discusses their amazement at filming on location in the Netherlands in specially constructed sets and naturally beautiful landscapes. For fans of the original movie, there is new wonder in experiencing the imaginative world of Neverland in live action.
The cast of the film includes Jude Law, Alexander Molony, Ever Anderson, Yara Shahidi, Alyssa Wapanatâhk, Joshua Pickering, Jacobi Jupe, Molly Parker, Alan Tudyk, and Jim Gaffigan. The screenplay by David Lowery and Toby Halbrooks is based on the novel by J.M. Barrie and the animated film Peter Pan.
Peter Pan and Wendy is available to stream on Disney+.
