Disney Announces Deal That Brings 'Indiana Jones' Movies And 'The Adventures Of Young Indiana Jones' To Disney+
In about a month, the final performance of Harrison Ford as the beloved archeologist will hit the big screen for the summer and bring to an end a nearly 40-year franchise. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is drawing a lot of excitement, from fans all the way up to Steven Spielberg.
With the premiere date quickly approaching, fans were greeted with news today that Disney has struck a deal with Paramount to stream the first four movies on Disney+. Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom, The Last Crusade, and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will be available to stream on Disney+ starting May 31.

Paramount currently owns the rights to the first four movies per a deal made back in 2013, where Disney purchased the future rights to the franchise. Paramount would still receive compensation for any future use of the franchise as a result of that deal. The update to this deal brings the four movies to Disney+, while also still being available on Paramount+.
The deal also came with the news that the television series The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles would be renamed The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones and would also be available on Disney+. The show originally aired back in the early 90s and ran for three seasons over several years, with different actors portraying the young, aspiring archeologist. Corey Carrier played the role from 1992 to 1995, and Sean Patrick Flannery took the bulk of the role from 1996 to 1999.
Stream all the Indiana Jones adventures you want starting May 31.
