Dark Horse Comics And Mattel Combine Forces For 'Masters Of The Universe: Masterverse' Anthology Series

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe franchise are the latest IP to jump on the Multiverse bandwagon with the announcement that Mattel and Dark Horse Comics will be teaming up to create a four-issue anthology set within the ‘Revelation’ Universe. The series will be titled ‘Masters of the Universe: Masterverse’.  The official press release sets the scene:

“In the depths of Castle Grayskull, The Sorceress and Zodac debate the value of He-Man. To save the life of her champion, the Sorceress must take the Cosmic Enforcer on a tour of the multiverse”  

The series has some big names attached to it as well, with Tim Seely (Injustice vs. Masters of the Universe, Masters of the Multiverse) in the writer’s chair, Art by Eddie Nuñez, Sergio Aragonés, and Kelley Jones, and Colour by Rico Renzi and Brennan Wagner.

Long-time fans of the franchise and newbies alike will undoubtedly get a kick from exploring the Revelation universe. For those needing their fix sooner, check out the excellent Masters of the Universe: Revelation series on Netflix featuring a phenomenal cast including Mark Hamill, Liam Cunningham, Sarah Michelle Geller, Henry Rollins, and the late Kevin Conroy to name just a few

The series will be on general sale from February 15th next year and is already available for pre-order from all the usual outlets.
