Crunchyroll Releases A Sneak Peek Of ‘Trigun Stampede’ Ahead Of Its Release This Weekend
A new sneak peek at the upcoming Trigun anime Trigun Stampede was released on Crunchyroll’s YouTube channel yesterday, January 5th. The clip (featured in Japanese with English subtitles) shows Vash in the midst of a battle. However, he soon realizes that he’s out of bullets. Panicking as the missiles get closes, he cries out for anyone who might have any ammo. Meryl Stryfe, who had been watching from the sidelines, rushes to Vash with a single .22 caliber bullet and throws it to him. This is where the sneak peek ends.
Trigun Stampede is animated using 3D computer animation by CG Orange. It features a mostly new voice cast from the original anime, including Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (famous for voicing Inouske Hashibara in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba), Junya Ikeda as Million Knives (famous for Jo Kiddo in Digimon Adventure tri), Maaya Sakamoto as Rem Saverem (famous for voicing Hitomi Kanzaki in The Vision of Escaflowne), Sakura Ando as Meryl Stryfe (famous for Legom in BEASTARS; is also reprising the role from Trigun Badlands), Kenji Matsuda as Roberto De Niro (famous for Kamen Rider Zanki in Kamen Rider Hibiki), Yoshimasa Hosoya as Nicholas D. Wolfwood (famous for Fumikage Tokoyami in My Hero Academia), Koki Uchiyama as Legato Bluesummers (famous for Tomura Shigaraki in My Hero Academia), TARAKO as Zazie the Beast (famous for Melody in HunterXHunter (1999)), and Ryusei Nakao as William Conrad (famous for Frieza in the Dragon Ball franchise).
There is no word on whether there will be an English dub at this time. The series premieres on Crunchyroll Saturday, January 7th, at 8:30am PT.
