Critical Role has always been big on giving back. They formed the Critical Role Foundation, where fans can raise money for various causes they support. Critical Role is back for a third year with a one-shot for Giving Tuesday.

The one-shot will work like the other ones did, fans donate to vote on certain story elements. The choices can range from the classes and characters the cast plays, the enemy they need to fight, where the story starts, and even the treasure they uncover. The selections with the highest amount by November 3rd will be used to craft an exciting story for Giving Tuesday. Fans can donate now to Critical Role’s Tiltify page through November 3rd.

The past two Giving Tuesday one-shots featured Stephen Colbert, and last year’s game even had real props from The Lord Of The Rings. While Stephen is not returning this year, they will be joined by Tony Hale (Arrested Development)  and Sam Richardson (The Afterparty). DM Matthew Mercer will lead the game and feature other Critical Role cast members such as Laura Bailey, Liam O’Brien, and Taliesin Jaffe. While the elements of the story are unknown until November 3rd, the story will take place on the islands of the Shattered Teeth, a familiar location for fans of campaign 3.

The episode will air live on Critical Role’s Twitch and YouTube channels on November 28th at an unknown time. The VOD will be available on their YouTube channel the following day at 12 p.m. PT.
