'Coyote Vs. Acme' Could Have A New Home At Paramount Or Amazon
The Looney Toons franchise is well-known for its various television shows, movies, comics, and more. One of the latest pieces, Coyote vs. Acme was meant to be a comedy film focusing on Wile E. Coyote and the legal outcome of his unfortunate dealings with Acme Corporation products. Warner Bros. Discovery shelved the film in November 2023, not the first piece of content from the company to meet this fate. Since this news, studios such as Netflix have been contemplating a move to acquire it when the company showed an interest in the idea. According to Deadline, a few other studios may be throwing their hats in the ring to acquire Coyote vs. Acme.
Warner Bros. is considering their options, looking to make a specific amount of money from selling the film to a bidder. Apple, Paramount, and Amazon have reportedly joined Netflix in considering the film. While Apple does not seem to be pursuing Coyote vs. Acme, Amazon is considering a bid, and Paramount has made one. Depending on where it goes, a theatrical release is not out of the question as well.
