The Mandalorian has ignited and reignited appreciation for Star Wars within a lot of viewers over the course of its first two seasons. As action-packed and gritty as the show can get, it can still be something for the family to enjoy. That sentiment is illustrated very well in the tweet below from Shawn Richter, sharing pictures (taken by Daniel Knighton, according to the photgraphy credit) of himself and his son Gavin in cosplay inspired by the series, giving off the Old West vibe as they pose in the desert.
One might have expected the father-son duo of Jango and Boba Fett, but this is different. Shawn is dressed as Din Djarin, complete with a little Grogu to carry, while his son is dressed as Cobb Vanth (if the red sleeves are anything to go by) wearing Boba Fett’s armor. On top of that, they took these photos at Buttercup Dunes, where Return of the Jedi was filmed. When it comes to father-son bonding, this is the way.
