It’s almost May the Fourth, more commonly known as Star Wars Day, and as ever a lot is going on in preparation for the day. The second volume of Visions will arrive on the day, but in preparation for the day, a few places have released new merchandise to celebrate.

Shop Disney has got a few additions that celebrate the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi. Luke Skywalker’s green-bladed lightsaber joins the collection, bringing a detailed hilt that can be displayed and an attachable blade. Some Endor-inspired ponchos will arrive in the store on Star Wars Day. And speaking of ponchos and lightsabers, while this one has nothing to do with Return of the Jedi, Cal Kestis’ lightsaber hilt will also be available to purchase on May 4.

Continuing with the Jedi: Survivor theme, a remote-controlled BD unit has joined the Shop Disney store last week from Galaxy’s Edge. What better time to bring one into your home than Star Wars Day? Other featured items from the Shop Disney store include a Darth Vader denim jacket, some Star Wars-inspired mugs from Starbucks’ Been There series, and a collection of clothing adorned with the Star Wars Day logo.

For the builders among you, LEGO is once again joining the fun with some freebies and a new set release. This Ultimate Collector Series X-Wing has plenty of detail to it, with its own display stand to lock those S-foils in attack position without it looking odd. This set also guarantees the miniature Death Star II, which is gifted with all purchases for this first week of May if you spend $150 or more on Star Wars goods. A miniature X-Wing comes free for those who spend $40 or more on Star Wars goods. VIP members will also receive a coin set for Star Wars purchases of $85 or more, as well as double points from all Star Wars purchases.
