CD Projekt Red Announces First DLC For 'Cyberpunk: 2077' Will Be Revealed Later This Week

With the most recent update being patch 1.52, much of the player base of Cyberpunk 2077 is yearning for additional playable content aside from cosmetics and quality-of-life updates. Much of the added content of patch 1.52 was customization of V’s appearance, a new iconic vehicle, rentable apartments, new guns, and new poses in photo mode that include Johnny Silverhand. 

CD Projekt Red has been rumored to announce the long-awaited DLC at Gamescom 2022. CD Projekt Red has been confirmed to appear at Gamescom in Germany with the Global Public Relations Director Radek Grabowski. Furthermore, Radek Grabowski confirmed in his tweet that “CD Projekt Red was not showcasing a new game but wished other studios the best.” The remarks made on Radek Grabrowski’s twitter give the idea that the major expansions for the game are looking like a 2023 release window.
