On September 30 and October 1, Hasbro held Hasbro PulseCon, a two-day online event with product showcases from all of their brands. This included Power Rangers on the former day and Star Wars on the latter. Marvel was in between, with that showcase occurring about 40 minutes after Power Rangers. While coverage of Marvel’s showcase awaited official pickup, Hasbro held another, smaller event, the 1027 Hasbro Pulse Premium Event, exclusively for Hasbro Pulse Premium members. It too had a Marvel segment; let’s dive in.

First was a Pulse-exclusive retro Iron Man figure based on that of the 1994 animated series and its Toybiz toyline, including a separately packaged plasma cannon. Several minutes of buffering later, suddenly there’s a 3.25-inch blue-suited Ghost Rider with an undetailed red motorcycle. At 1027 it’s clarified to be a prototype and detailing would come. The HasLab project Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider: Engine of Vengeance they showed off ultimately failed to get funded, with the campaign ending at the end of October. It had a car with fire, well-crafted tires, brimstone risers, and a 6-inch Robbie Ghost Rider figure. They also showcased a 6-inch Mephisto figure, Madeline Pryor, and Daimon Hellstrom. Having teased a blaster at SDCC, the crew revealed a figure for Orb that will be released next year. Next up was Molecule Man in his first Legends figure, called one of the most powerful Marvel characters, also to be released next year. Moonstone gets her second figure, this time in her white costume from her Thunderbolts era. Her arms are double pinless and her face is photoreal. Moving onto MCU-based Legends figures, they revealed Warrior Gamora from What If?, whose base episode was moved to season two.

Next, they had Patriots quarterback Brian Hoyer and his son Garrett on the program and presented them with the MCU Marvel Legends Moon Knight figure and the new The Uncanny X-Men Wolverine figure. Back on the main stage, the hosts presented Longshot and Multiple Man who, of course, has multiple heads. With three heroes covered, the next three reveals are villains: Dark Phoenix, returning for the first time since a 2017 Toys R Us 2-pack, with a waist sash and the correct phoenix logo sculpted in, pinless extremities (arms double), Avalanche, a first timer in the Legends line, and Spiral with all the arms and weapons (six of each).

For 2023 and X-Men’s 60th anniversary, we have Storm in the yellows and blues, bands keyed in, no sliding and falling. Her hands are changeable (with lightning or without). There’s also an updated Banshee with fabric wings and two likenesses, followed by a very shiny Strife figure. The VHS X-Men TAS-inspired line will be getting Scott Summers, aka Cyclops, as a Hasbro Pulse exclusive this year, but the program is shifting to the beloved contemporary Spider-Man series. At 1027, it was announced that a Symbiote Spider-Man/Carnage 2-pack (with a Kletus head) would be a shopDisney and Hasbro Pulse exclusive. While the initial reveal was the last bit of real news from the panel, an interview with Johnny Gargano showcased a brand new Star-Lord figure in his debut depiction, which will be a Walmart exclusive in the US.

What else was revealed at the 1027 event? The classically packaged Marvel Legends 3-inch ‘70s era Luke Cage/Power Man and Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman, the latter with emphasis on the hair sculpt and detachable web wings. They join a previously announced Doctor Doom, who is part of a bigger Fantastic Four set coming in 2023. New 6-inch figure reveals include Wonder Man, comics-based classic Yelena Belova, and Baron von Strucker, all for a build-a-figure wave also next year.
