Cartoon Network's Website Is Shutdown; Follows Boomerang To HBO Max

Looking for cartoons, cartoons? The Cartoon Network site is officially dead, shut down by Warner Bros. Discovery, its parent company. Boomerang was another Cartoon Network property that was merged recently. The Boomerang channel has evolved from its original form, but you can still find Boomerang content available on Max. This may be foreshadowing for Cartoon Network, which for now, is still operating its cable TV channel as usual.
Whether you remember Cartoon Network in the late 90s, with shows like Dexter’s Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, and Johnny Bravo, or the early 2000s with fan favorites like Courage the Cowardly Dog; Ed, Edd n Eddy; and Samurai Jack; the network has always had something special to offer. Even childhood favorites from Warner Bros. Cartoons and Hanna-Barbera were Boomerang classics for almost 20 years, showing how Cartoon Network has connected with all generations. These Boomerang offerings moved to Max last year.

If you head to the Cartoon Network site, you won’t see the episodes, variety of clips, and the games so many of us grew up with. There was no prior announcement or warning that their website would be shut down. Viewers now receive a pop-up notification saying, “Looking for episodes of your favorite Cartoon Network shows? Check out what’s available to stream on Max.”
