Can I Take Your Order? Kenan And Kel Set To Return For 'Good Burger 2'
The 1997 movie Good Burger is getting a sequel! After teases and new sketches on the All That reboot, the news has now been confirmed. Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell will be back for Good Burger 2. In 1994, a Nickelodeon series named All That began airing. Utilising a sketch show format, the series became a popular one, running for ten years. One of the most popular sketches of the series was that of Good Burger. Playing a clueless teenager helming the cashier at a fast-food restaurant, Mitchell would always find a way to mess things up. The sketch proved so popular that a feature film was made based on it.
Thompson and Mitchell have been excited to share the announcement of the upcoming sequel. In an interview with EW, they talk about what Good Burger has meant for them and the fans. “It is such a blessing to be able to be working with my brother again,” Thompson said. “He’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever met.”

“Man, is it such a blessing,” Mitchell added. “It’s been an amazing journey for both of us.” Speaking of his experiences of fan reaction, he continued, “It could be a five-star, it could be a drive-thru… They’re definitely going to talk about Good Burger or orange soda [from Kenan & Kel]. People talk about Good Burger all the time, and I’m just happy to be a part of something that is so special to so many people.”
Thompson says he feels a sequel has been possible ever since the first film was released. That years of forming ideas for a sequel have now finalised into something they are happy with. “Honestly, when we brought it back for the reboot of All That, it was just so nice to hear that the beats and rhythms were still working. And it was the same thing at the table read that we did for the movie.”
Mitchell ends things by saying, “We just wanted to make sure that this was a fun watch for everyone who has watched us over the years. I’m really excited to bring this to the world.”
Production for Good Burger 2 will start in May, with the movie set to release on Paramount+.
