New details emerged for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1 release, which is incoming on Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms on September 19, 2023. This latest edition of Mortal Kombat 1 will allow fans to see a “reimagined version” of characters known from past versions, along with new game modes and a fighting system. Mortal Kombat 1 is currently available for preorder, but for three different editions, including a “Kollector’s Edition.” Note how the “K” replaces the “C” for marketing purposes.

The first edition available from all major stores is the “standard” edition, which retails for $69.99. The “premium” edition is priced at $109.99 and will include, along with the full game, early access as of September 14 and early use of DLC characters. This “Kombat Pack” will allow players to select six new characters, with five Kameo characters and a Jean-Claude Van Damme skin for Johnny Cage. The “Kollector’s” edition, which is sold out at all major retailers, will cost $249.99 and will include all preorder goodies listed in the premium edition, but will also include a Liu Kang sculpture, a specialty steel case, limited edition COARSE prints, a limited edition Liu Kang in-game color variant, and 2700 dragon krystals (currency within the game).
