Blumhouse, Atomic Monster And Behaviour Interactive Are Developing A 'Dead By Daylight' Horror Movie
One of the most popular horror games ever is finally getting the movie star treatment. According to Variety, Atomic Monster and Blumhouse are partnering with Behaviour Interactive to bring Dead by Daylight to the big screen. This news comes roughly a month after it was announced that Blumhouse was launching its own video game studio.
The horror multiplayer game was released in 2016 and has reached more than 50 million players across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. In the game, players are pitted against a horrifying atmosphere and a killer that they must avoid in hopes of passing through “The Fog,” which signifies that they have survived the game. To date, only 2 million players have survived the game.

What makes Dead by Daylight so popular is not only the game style and atmosphere but also the incredible collaborations that the studio has done. There are many add-ons that allow players to be hunted by villains from horror franchises such as Scream, Stranger Things, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, and Saw, just to name a few.
There is currently no news on who will write, direct, or star in the project, but one thing is certain. It’s going to be a terrifying movie!
