Diablo IV has been out for a couple of months, and already the player base is learning some more information about the game. Franchise general manager Rob Ferguson has confirmed in an interview with Dexerto that Blizzard plans to release pai expansions on an annual basis, saying “When you look at the launch of the game and this first season, we see that as building a foundation on which we can build for the future. So, as we look at our quarterly seasons, and we look at our annual expansions, those are the things that we’re really focused on for our live service.”

It had already been confirmed that at least two expansions were already in production. This release schedule, inspired by that of Destiny 2, will ensure a steady stream of content for years to come. Diablo IV was released on June 5 for PC, and many fans are eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the story. Who knows what that will bring? All we can do right now is look to the internet and wait for news and upcoming information. Until then, Diablo IV is available on Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
