Ben Juwono, Co-producer Of 'Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur' Takes To X To Announce Season 2
“#MoonGirlAndDevilDinosaur is back for season 2 and we’re JUICING IT UP even more!!” So says Ben Juwono, co-producer of Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, on his X account.
The show is an adaptation of Marvel Comics’ Moon Girl. It follows Lunella Lafayette, aka Moon Girl, and her Tyrannosaurus Rex sidekick Devil Dinosaur. Lunella is a thirteen-year-old girl living in New York City. She has all of the problems of a typical teenager, but she also fights crime.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur stars Diamond White as Lunella and Fred Tatasciore as Devil Dinosaur. The supporting cast is made up of Jermaine Fowler and Sasheer Zamata as Lunella’s parents. Her grandmother is played by Alfre Woodard and her grandfather by Gary Anthony Williams. Laurence Fishburne voices two characters, The Beyonder and Bill Foster. Fishburne along with Steve Loter and Helen Sugland are the executive producers.
Season one had an impressive list of guest stars including Jennifer Hudson, Mae Jemison, and Wesley Snipes. Season two promises to continue that streak with Giancarlo Esposito, Carol Kane, Parker Posey, and David Tennant among others.
Season two of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur will debut on February 2, 2024 on Disney Channel and Disney XD. It will stream the next day on Disney+.
