'Baldur's Gate 3' Big Winner At Golden Joystick Awards
The success of Baldur’s Gate 3 was undeniable when the game initially came out, but now its quality was reassured as the title won not 1, not 2, but 5 awards at The Golden Joystick Awards; the annual event took place last Friday, November 10th.
The D&D RPG won in the following five categories:
Best Storytelling
Best Visual Design
Best Game Community
PC Game of the Year
Ultimate Game of the Year
Additionally, Larian, the studio that created Baldur’s Gate 3 won the Studio of the Year award, adding up to 6 prizes in one night for the studio itself. We can appreciate how Swen Vincke, Larian CEO, is holding the 6 golden statuettes with a massive grin on his face. It is, without a doubt, one of the best nights of his life.

If we get a bit more technical, Neil Newbon also won Best Supporting Performer for his role as Baldur's Gate 3 companion Astarion. Adding both the studio and the actor’s award it makes for a total of 7 awards in one night!
With its tremendous success at the ceremony, everyone must be proud of themselves back at the studio, probably working on their next competition-destroyer title.
