'Avatar 2: The Way Of Water' Gets A Streaming Date On Disney+

Avatar 2: The Way of Water hit the big screen last November, and now it’s coming to smaller screens. A trailer has just confirmed the streaming premiere date of the movie: June 7th, just a few weeks from today.

Avatar 2 will be coming to Disney+ and Max, the latter of which was formerly known as Warner Max. With this, it will be possible to see the film on the go, alongside the home video and digital download releases. Alongside the film itself will be bonus content focusing on the behind the scenes with the filmmakers, cast and crew.

Avatar 2: The Way of Water was released in November 2022, where it proceeded to have a record breaking run in theaters, becoming the third highest-grossing film of all time. It also won an Oscar for Best Visual Effects, from at least five nominations at those awards.

Produced by 20th Century Studios and Lightstorm Entertainment, Avatar 2: The Way of Water picks up 10 years after the events of the first film, following the family of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), as they encounter new problems and cultures on Pandora. The film will arrive on Disney+ on June 7th.
