Archangel Gabriel Seems To Be On A Journey Of Discovery In 'Good Omens' Season Two

After disappearing last season after Aziraphale and Crowley successfully stopped Armageddon, Gabriel has returned but doesn’t know who he is, in an exclusive clip for Good Omens upcoming second season featured on Entertainment Weekly.

Good Omens is based on the best-selling novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett; however, fans can look forward to the second season moving away from the source material to explore the friendship between Crowly and Aziraphale portrayed exquisitely by David Tennant and Michael Sheen. Jon Hamm portrays Gabriel and has no idea why he showed up in Aziraphale’s bookstore.

The synopsis for the upcoming season details how “...Crowley is leery as to why the archangel has come to the bookshop, Aziraphale is keen to solve the mystery behind Gabriel’s condition…However, hiding the archangel from both Heaven and Hell quickly disrupts their lives in unforeseen ways.” Crowley and Aziraphale undoubtedly need to join forces again to save the world from the wrath between Heaven and Hell.

Neil Gaiman is returning to co-executive produce and co-show run alongside Douglas Mackinnon, who is also directing all six episodes for the upcoming season. Doon Mackihcan and Gloria Obianyo return to the series as archangels Michael and Uriel.

The second season of Good Omens debuts on Prime Video on July 28.

You can watch the clip on the Entertainment Weekly site.
