AMC Reveals Popcorn Bucket For 'The War Of The Rohirrim'
An immersive Middle-Earth experience is landing in AMC theaters. With the December 13 release of The War of the Rohirrim, the theater franchise is selling a unique popcorn bucket shaped like a hammer from the film. While this alone may please some fans, the hammer is meant to mimic not only the film’s weapons but also its size. The 27-inch bucket ought to hold enough popcorn to get fans through the most thrilling moments of the film. In addition to the hammer bucket, AMC is selling a faux wooden stein with the movie’s logo on it. The hammer is priced at $32.99, while the stein costs $21.99. As a bonus, the stein comes with a large soda.
War of the Rohirrim is an animated film set 200 years before the Lord of The Rings trilogy. The story will focus on Rohan King Helm Hammerhand (Brian Cox) as he fights against the Dundelings to protect his kingdom. Joining the cast are Gaia Wise as Helm’s daughter Hera, Luke Pasqualino as Wulf, and Miranda Otta returning as Éowyn. Christopher Lee will be back as Saruman through the use of archival recordings. War of the Rohirrim is only the beginning of Middle-Earth returning to theaters as Peter Jackson has confirmed The Hunt for Gollum and another untitled film.
