Amazon Has Found Its He-Man For The Upcoming Live-Action 'Masters Of The Universe' Movie

The upcoming He-Man Masters Of The Universe movie has been given its leading star. Nicholas Galitzine, who was in The Idea of You and Red, White & Royal Blue will be playing the titular character of the Mattel property in the upcoming Amazon movie.
Other notable cast and crew include Travis Knight as the director plus Chris Butler, David Callaham, Aaron Nee, and Adam Nee have all had their hands on the script at various points throughout production. Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch will be producing.
“We’re thrilled to bring the beloved Masters of the Universe to life and couldn’t be more excited to announce the immensely talented Nicholas Galitzine as our He-Man,” Julie Rapaport, head of film production said in a recent interview. “Joining forces with director Travis Knight, Mattel, and Escape Artists, this reintroduction of the character and his universe will be an epic film that will delight audiences from here to Eternia.”

The movie will be coming to theatres on June 5, 2026.
