Alison Brie Joins 'Masters Of The Universe' Live-Action Film Cast

As news continues to come out for the Masters Of The Universe movie, one of the largest drops has now come in: we now know who will be playing the villain. Alison Brie, known for her role in the crime mystery Apples Never Fall, as well as comedies GLOW and Community will be playing Evil-Lyn, who has been an antagonist within the series since 1983. She joins Nicholas Galitzine and Camila Mendes, who are playing He-Man and Teela respectively.

The movie will be directed by Laika’s Travis Knight, Chris Butler wrote the script, with David Callaham and Aaron and Adam Nee having worked on the initial draft.

Evil-Lyn is a sorceress, who is one of the most notable allies of Skeletor, who is the most iconic villain in the He-Man universe. Masters of The Universe is due out on June 5, 2026.
