A fan speculated on Twitter the hope to see Alex Ferns reprise his role in the second season of Andor as Syril Karn’s supportive friend Sergeant Linus Mosk. Unfortunately, Ferns responded directly letting us know a reprisal for this character is just not in the cards. The Twitter user called for a “Petition let[ing] Sergeant Mosk go from silly little corporate cop to silly little rebel” adding a “PLEASE” to the request. Ferns responded to the fan by writing, “I thought that would be the case but alas you’ve seen the end of Mosk. I had a blast playing him and I’m glad you and others enjoyed him too. Au revoir.”

Much can change between now and the release of the already much anticipated second installment of the hit series, but this is what we know thus far – fans will get to see everyone’s favorite stalker Syril Karn as actor Kyle Soller has been confirmed as returning to the series. A specific plot has not yet been released however the season will pick up after the incident on Ferrix at Maarva’s funeral. There will be four blocks, with each block representing a year. There will be three episodes per block, with twelve episodes total for the season. This will close the gap left between the season one finale and the beginning of Rogue One. Each block of time will also be charged with telling a self-contained story. The stories likely will have less interconnectivity as was seen in Season One, but there is no doubt that the stories will fill in details of the Rebel Alliance’s development and growth between the grassroots level and what we know of them going into A New Hope.

The rest of the main cast are expected however to reprise their roles including Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, Alan Tudyk as the voice of K-250, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, Stellen Skarsgård as Luthen Rael, Duncan Pow as Melshi, and Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen. Production on Season Two is already underway, shooting in several locations throughout the UK. Shooting is expected to continue through the summer with an expected drop to Disney+ sometime later in 2024!
