Ahsoka Tano To Receive Her First Marvel Comics Series
Ahsoka Tano is the most recent Star Wars character to get her own show. The Disney+ show was able to continue Ahsoka's story from animation. Recently it was announced that she will also be getting her own comic series.
The comic will not contain new stories, and will instead be an adaptation of the TV show. It will be similar to The Mandalorian and Obi-Wan Kenobi comics. It will deliver all the action and drama from the show while following Ahsoka on her quest to find Grand Admiral Thrawn. The comic will be written by Rodney Barnes and with art by Steve Cummings and Georges Jeanty, both of whom worked on The Mandalorian comics.

In a press release, Barnes said, "It's truly an honor to be adapting Ahsoka". Editor Mike Paniccia said how "We're all big fans of Marvel here, and we've been wanting to do something with Ahsoka for a long time"
These comics tend not to feature unseen moments, but seeing what sort of spin this will put in the show will be interesting. This could feature the return of Anakin Skywalker, Ezra Bridger, and Grand Admiral Thrawn.
The first issue will hit comic stands in July.
