'Ahsoka' Starship, Costume, And Art Revealed At San Diego Comic-Con
To help whet fans’ appetites for the upcoming Ahsoka series, the latest new entry in Star Wars canon, Ahsoka’s starship, a T-6 Jedi shuttle that has been shown before on The Clone Wars (and where she and Sabine were last seen in the finale of Star Wars Rebels), was unveiled recently at San Diego Comic-Con.
Also on display were several other items and concept art from the upcoming series, which some have likened to a “spiritual” sequel series to Star Wars Rebels due to the reappearance of surviving crewmembers of The Ghost, such as Hera, Sabine, Chopper, and the probable return of Ezra Bridger (not to mention Grand Admiral Thrawn). Other items and art introduced at San Diego Comic-Con include new character Shin Hati’s lightsaber hilt, Ahsoka’s costume (complete with lekku), and various concept art pieces for the series.

The eight-part series stars Rosario Dawson, reprising her role as Ahsoka from The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera, captain of The Ghost, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine, Lars Mikkelsen as the notorious Grand Admiral Thrawn in live-action form, and Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger. Newcomers Ivanna Sakhno (Shin Hati) and the late Ray Stevenson (Baylan Skoll) will portray new orange-red lightsaber-wielding characters in league with Grand Admiral Thrawn as foils to Ahsoka and Sabine. The series, as teased at the end of “The Jedi” episode from the second season of The Mandalorian, involves Ahsoka continuing her search for Ezra and Thrawn, both of whom vanished into hyperspace to places unknown in the series finale.
The first two episodes of the series will premiere on Wednesday, August 23 exclusively on Disney+ and will become a part of the larger so-called “MandoVerse” that Lucasfilm is creating around its popular Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, which is rumored to eventually culminate in a Star Wars feature film.
