The release date for Agatha All Along is rapidly approaching, and with this fact comes promotional content. The finer details have been kept under wraps, but a few have been pushed through. In a Total Film interview, series creator Jac Schaeffer hinted at the series soundtrack and what it was like to work with Aubrey Plaza.

Regarding the subject of a soundtrack, Schaeffer teased, “Get ready for some songs.” The series title serves as a song reference from its predecessor, WandaVision. The song was featured in episode seven of the series, Breaking the Fourth Wall; this episode sees Agatha reveal her true identity and manipulations to Wanda. After several changes, the series finally settled on its name, effectively building up buzz and playing on the theme of things not being as they seem.

When it came to working with Plaza, who plays a witch named Rio Vidal, the showrunner explained, “It was a pleasure to work with Aubrey [Plaza] because she’s so funny and such a live wire, and she’s so unpredictable in the best way. All of that is thrilling and funny, but also she’s so interested in going as deep as she possibly can in any scenario, even if it’s comedic.” Plaza’s character hasn’t been clearly specified beyond her title as a Green Witch and her history with Agatha; Schaeffer skirted around specific character hints while still being descriptive.
