According To Reports There Will Be No New 'Star Wars' Film Announced At D23 Expo

With D23 coming many contemplate just what we might see for the future of Star Wars moving forward. We may not see any Star Wars movie news at D23 as has been reported by Bespin Bulletin. This is a sad thing for many fans who want to see a new film but it also comes as no surprise at this time. Many of the films announced seem to be in the early stages of development. Perhaps the scripts themselves haven’t even been written yet, for movie-making is a delicate thing
Now in terms of what we could see out of Disney Plus, I imagine mostly updates on shows that we already know about like Andor, The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, The Acolyte, and Skeleton Crew. These announcements are probably going to get the most limelight from the Lucasfilm D23 panel coming up shortly. What else the future could hold is hard to say at the moment. Always in motion, the future is, and always in motion, the Disney franchises seem to be these days. When a movie will happen is hard to say, time will tell.
