It’s been a few years since Lucasfilm and Ubisoft announced that Massive Entertainment has started working on an open-world Star Wars game. Massive Entertainment was the developer behind The Division. There wasn’t much announced about the game, besides the fact that it was currently in development. A new report from an insider about the game itself, and what we may expect.

According to Insider Gaming, the game will be comparable to No Man’s Sky. It will be a massive, fully open, and seamless universe. One of the defining features of No Man’s Sky is that you can explore every part of the galaxy. Nothing is off-limits. Insider Gaming goes on to say that there will be a long story and a fully customizable character. Your character will also walk whatever path the player chooses.

There is no release date in sight, and fans probably won’t be able to expect this game for another few years. The game is still untitled, and there is still much we don’t know about it, and probably won’t for a while yet.  If this insider information holds, this game would be one of the biggest Star Wars games to date and could allow fans to go to planets less explored.
