A24's 'The Drama' In Talks To Bring In Zendaya And Robert Pattinson

Kristoffer Borgli of Dream Scenario fame is working on his next film, The Drama, and is currently in talks with hot Hollywood talent to star in the film. According to sources, both Zendaya (Dune, Euphoria) and Robert Pattinson (Twilight, The Batman) expressed early interest in the project and are now in active negotiations to star in the film, which Borgli will be directing from a script he wrote.
The Drama is being financed and produced by A24, which previously collaborated with Borgli on Dream Scenario. Producers Ari Aster, Lars Knudsen, and Tyler Campellone will be working on it under their Square Peg Banner. The plot synopsis of the film is about a couple’s romance that takes an unexpected turn before the couple’s wedding day, although further details are currently under wraps. Due to the star power that Zendaya and Pattinson are expected to bring to the film, The Drama has been given top priority at the studio.
Previous collaborations between A24 and Square Peg Banner have included Hereditary, Midsommar, and Dream Scenario. Upcoming studio projects include Death of a Unicorn, starring Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega, as well as Eddington, starring Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, and Emma Stone.
