The expansion of the Invincible franchise is going full steam ahead as Skybound, a “multi-platform entertainment company” founded by the creator of The Walking Dead and Invincible comic books, Robert Kirkman, announced their plans to bring the franchise to new mediums. In an exclusive from Comicbook.com the creators of the growing comic book franchise plan to bring the pages to life in various forms other than the already beloved animated series. In the article, they spoke about their plans to create tabletop games, and other merchandising plans, with the real eye-catcher being video games.

While there are no further details on the genre of game they plan on making, and no studio behind the development yet, fans of the comic book can rejoice at the news. While the wording seems to hint at the possibility of multiple games, one could only imagine what game studios could come up with when it comes to action-packed and gore-filled stories.
