A Trailer For 'Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero' Was Released During Summer Game Fest
It's time to gather up your energy (substitutes are okay) because a new trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero premiered during the recent Summer Game Fest. The trailer gives fans an exhilarating look at the updated gameplay from the legendary Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series (called Dragon Ball Z Sparking! in Japan, hence this installment’s title), and it also shows off the performances of the English dub cast for this game. Of course, players will be able to go through the regular story but they will also be able to experience various “What if” scenarios (such as what if Kuririn/Krillin was killed by Vegeta during the Saiyan Saga, causing Goku to go Super Saiyan then). However, fans will now be able to create their own scenarios as well and share them with fans around the world. Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero continues the Budokai Tenkaichi tradition of expansive rosters with over 100 playable characters.
The game will be available in four editions: standard, deluxe, ultimate, and premium. Standard is the base game but with Gogeta, Super Saiyan Gogeta, Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta, Broly, Super Saiyan Broly, and Full Power Super Saiyan Broly included as a pre-order bonus. The digital-only deluxe edition includes the base game, the season pass for DLC 1-3 that includes characters from the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, three days early access to the three DLC packs, and three-day early access to the game.
